Images of Nettleham
Some images of Nettleham taken between 2000 and spring 2002. Nettleham has its own micro-climate which is surprisingly mild. Snow is rare these days but when we get it everyone makes for the Police Field to sledge down the only real slope in the village. The only problem is the ice cold Beck running at the slope bottom. Snow never lasts more than 2 - 3 days. There I've said it, it will now snow all January and February. Rainfall is very light for the country as a whole, it rarely rains for more than an hour at a time. We actually get the same rainfall as Jerusalem! Spring and summer are beautiful times, weather is hot and balmy.

Early summer is the time for the Carnival. Many organisations take part in the parade culminating in fun on the Green.
